Personnel Track n Trace is a real-time tracking application for both personnel and assets. Designed to work with both active and passive RFID systems and smart cards, it can be configured to show maps of floor and building plans. The location of each team member or item can be viewed online instantly.

Your people are your most precious resource, Personnel Track n Trace enables you monitor them in dangerous or potentially hazardous situations and ensure that you know where they are. Demonstrate that you’re serious about protecting your team or people in your care.

Personnel Tack n Trace can also be used to provide real time information on the location and movement of valuable items in secure locations.

How it works

A grid of Active RFID Readers is created in the location(s) where you want to track personnel or items. Each RFID reader has a reading range of 50m in radius and up to 100m for unidirectional reading range. By placing an active reader in the area to be covered, you are able to track and identify who and what is where.

The aim of such system is to provide the maximum coverage at any location where someone may be. If the area is an open space or a wide area, a reader will be used to cover the whole area. For doorways, a reader can be configured to be unidirectional to cover the doorway. If the doorway is very long, one reader can be configured to cover up to 100m in a single direction.

Each person carries a 15 gram active RFID tag that enables them to be identified by the nearest reader, this information is relayed to the software which provides a visualisation of their location on the floor or building plan.
